Sacrifice
Once there was a big business man. He wanted to donate a large sum of money to Sri Ramchandraji for the purpose of his organisation. Sri Ramchandraji did not accept the donation.
Once a poor woman came and met Sri Ramchandraji. She donated a small amount of ten rupees to him. Pujya Babuji immediately accepted the amount from her with gratitude. He thanked the woman very much for the donation. There were people around him who saw this and wondered why Sri Ramchandraji did not accept the donation of the business man but readily accepted the petty amount from the poor woman. Sri Ramchandraji told them that the business man wanted to show his greatness by donating a large sum of money which he could easily afford. But the poor woman had sacrificed some of her comfort and saved whatever little she could. Her effort involved sacrifice and love. Sri Ramchandraji could see the sacrifice she made for saving even the small amount. Hence he heartily accepted that amount which was given with so much love and affection. He expressed gratitude to her and also made her feel valued.
